Charlotte Tilbury is definitely the luxury brand of the moment, they seem to be the brand on everybody’s lips. If you haven’t heard of their Magic Cream or the lipstick in Glastonberry then where have you been?! The incredible brand have just launched a brand new collection of 16 Hot Lips Lipsticks! Each lipstick has been created in collaboration with beautiful, inspiring women and there is definitely a shade in the range for everybody!
There is everything in this collection, there are nudes, pinks, corals, reds and darker more plum shades. So let’s get into each shade shall we?
I’m going to break the lipsticks down into 4 groups of 4 and talk about each shade and who it was created in collaboration with. So here goes;
Starting from the left we have Bosworth’s Beauty a bright, warm pink that Tilbury describes as ‘a statement pink that brings 1950’s retro vintage glamour brought into the modern day’. This pink was created with Kate Bosworth and depicts her timeless beauty.
Next up is Hel’s Bells, my personal favourite from this collection! Created with Helena Bonham-Carter this lipstick is a stunning rich mulberry shade.
The first of a few pale nudes in this collection is Nude Kate. It is inspired by the ‘biscuit-beige’ look that Charlotte Tilbury originally mixed for Kate Moss. It is a very pale nude, and would look good on people with lighter skin tones. On darker skin tones I think this would end up looking ashy due to it being quite white-based.
Finally in this little group is Liv It Up, created with Liv Tyler this shade is a muted rose shade that I think would look lovely with a classic cat-eye and flawless skin.
Hot Emily is a beautiful, bright coral shade that was created in collaboration with Emily Ratajkowski. Charlotte Tilbury has said that this shade is inspired by the 1970’s hues in ‘American Love Story’. This is a perfect summer colour that would look amazing with a tan!
Very Victoria is probably my second favourite out of this collection, I am a huge fan of the deeper, more mauve-y toned nudes and this is perfect. Inspired by Victoria Beckham, this suede-nude is kind of Velvet Teddy-esque in that it is a timeless shade.
Sexy Sienna is definitely a summer shade, it would compliment a tan absolutely perfectly. Tilbury describes this as a ‘Golden Coral’ and I don’t think I could sum it up any better than that. Not too bright, not too pastel.
Penelope Pink is a muted, nude pink inspired by the beautiful Penelope Cruz. This is a very ‘your lips but better’ kind of colour that would add just a touch of colour but not be too bold.
Miranda May is a very fresh pinky-coral colour that was inspired by Miranda Kerr. This is a very beachy shade that would look lovely with slightly sea-waved hair and a golden tan.
Super Cindy is described as a ‘barely-there taupey nude’ that would definitely suit a radiant skin, nude eye type of makeup look. I think this is a nude that would suit every skin tone, but any body with darker skin may want to use a slightly darker lipliner around the edges to reduce any ashy tones.
Kim K.W. is exactly the colour that I think of when I think of Kim Kardashian-West’s makeup. She is always rocking a super pale nude, and this is the palest nude in the collection. It’s a very pink nude, that Kim would be proud of!
Tell Laura is a super bright, orange-red inspired by Laura Bailey. This is 100% a summery shade! I think this would look amazing with a thin, winged liner and a slightly more matte face.
Carina’s Love is a beautiful bordeaux red, a very classic shade that will suit any skin tone. It is inspired by Carina Lau and I think it would look absolute stunning on anybody with a medium skin tone or darker. Possibly even somebody who is super pale, to create that almost Snow White look.
Electric Poppy is the brightest shade in this new lineup, a neon, super vibrant fun pink. This colour will definitely make a statement when worn. This colour is inspired by Poppy Delevigne, known for her crazy, bubbly personality which is definitely portrayed in this lip colour.
Secret Salma is another one of those classic mauve-y nudes that everybody seems to be loving at the moment. This rose-plum shade would look stunning on anybody with brown eyes.
Kidman’s Kiss is a a coral-nude that is another one of the ‘your lips but better shades’. This shade would be incredibly easy to wear, and would go with almost any makeup look. I think it would be pretty difficult to find a look that this shade, inspired by Nicole Kidman, doesn’t work with.
So there we are, the 16 new shades from Charlotte Tilbury. Now let’s get into the technical bits shall we?
The Charlotte Tilbury websites boasts a formula that contains 3D pigments that create a cashmere soft look on the lips. They look to be, from the lip swatches on the website a creamy matte finish, and extremely pigmented.
These lipsticks have the same square tip as the Matte Revolution Lipsticks, Charlotte designed this bullet-shape to mimic a lip brush and make application from the tube much easier.
The lipsticks are available now to buy from the Charlotte Tilbury website (linked here) and cost £23 each, the standard price of a CT lipstick.
So there we have it, the new launch from Charlotte Tilbury. Let me know what you think and if you have tried anything from Charlotte Tilbury!

A new collection has just been announced from Sleek and it is full of beautiful pastel shades and an entirely new product!
Let’s start with the eyeshadows shall we?
I think the I-divine palettes from Sleek are up there in my top 5 products from Sleek, the shadows are always so incredibly pigmented and smooth, and easy to blend.
Plus can we just talk about how cute this palette is for a second?! If you ever wanted to be a pastel princess then this is definitely your chance, although if the colours scare you a little bit, then there are also a few neutral shades so that you can tone the look down a bit!
I definitely think I’m going to need to get my hands on this!
The palette retails for £8.99, the same price as all of the I-divine palettes, which is amazing value considering you get 12 shadows!
Next up are 3 new additions to the Lip VIP range:
All 3 of these colours are super pretty, and pastel.
First up is Hot Tottie; a warm mix between a coral and a red, this shade would look amazing with a simple neutral matte eye, a winged liner and big lashes.
Next we have Fancy Pants, a creamiscle orange colour that would look really pretty in the summer with bronze glowy skin.
The last lipstick in this collection is Big Shot, a very cool-toned blue based pink. Not a lipstick for the faint-hearted!
The lipsticks retail for £5.50
Last up in this collection is a completely new product from Sleek; the Sweet Cheeks cheek stains!
These are such a cool idea, they are very similar to the Illamasqua Gel Blushers (linked here). They are basically a gel stick that blends out to a beautiful sheer blush on the cheeks.
Hullabaloo is a beautiful warm rosy pink.
Lickety Split is a bright orange, that would look beautiful on darker skin tones.
Tom Foolery is a beautiful plum colour that would look absolutely stunning on darker skin tones. I also think if applied lightly this could look quite breathtaking on very pale skin tones.
The Sweet Cheeks retail for £5.50.
So that is the new Whimsical Wonderland Collection from Sleek! The entire collection is available from the Sleek Cosmetics website (link here).
Let me know if you pick up anything from the collection and what you think!

So as some of you may know, I was in New York 2 weeks ago and I did a lot of shopping..So much shopping that I’ve had to split up my New York Haul blog posts into 3 parts. The first is all of the Wet ‘n’ Wild goodies I picked up, the 2nd will be all of the other makeup, and then the 3rd will be fashion bits and pieces.
Wet ‘n’ Wild is an extremely affordable brand that is only available in the US as far as I am aware, so obviously I had to go a bit overboard while I was there.
I picked up a lot of the hyped about products on the internet and some that I have been wanting after for a while now! So let’s get into it!
First of all I picked up 2 of the colouricon blushes in the shades rosé champagne and pearlescent pink. I have been testing out both of these blushes over the last couple of weeks and I have fallen in love. They are incredibly pigmented but super easy to blend so you don’t have to worry about clown cheeks, they give a beautiful sheen to the cheeks without being glittery, and best of all, they were only $3!
Rosé Champagne is a beautiful mauve-y colour that blends seamlessly and gives a quite subtle hint of colour to the cheeks.
Pearlescent Pink is a brighter more coral pink that gives a slightly more intense look, but still beautiful and blends like a dream. This shade is perfect for spring/summer when the sun is shining!
Next up is the cult favourite Comfort Zone Eyeshadow Palette!
This eyeshadow palette has been spoken about at least a trillion times on the internet I’m sure and for $5 I can see why!
All of the eyeshadows are amazingly pigmented, really easy to blend, buildable and the shade range is pretty much everything you could ask for. I have been loving creating new looks with these eyeshadows.
Plus for $5 you are also getting an amazing MAC eyeshadow dupe!! The very bottom right shade (bottom on the swatches) is an amazing dupe for Mac’s Blue-Brown pigment!
I couldn’t quite get the intensity of the duochrome to show up in pictures, but the base for this shadow is a very red-brown, but when the light catches it, there is a stunning bright blue duochrome sheen.
All of these shadows are shimmery, however, when the crease shades are blended out they don’t leave a lot of shimmer in your crease and they look absolutely stunning. I would highly highly recommend this palette!
I also picked up the Contouring Palette in the shade Dulce de Leche and it is incredible. in swatches it doesn’t look too great, but blended out in the hollows of the cheekbones and you have the most beautiful contour in about 5 seconds. I use my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush to apply to product and then a big fluffy powder brush to blend it out, and it gives a beautiful contour to the cheeks.
Finally we reach my main weakness, Lipstick….and to be precise, the Megalast Range of lipsticks..I picked up 8 different shades, and not only were they only $2 but they were also buy one get one free!
As you can see from the swatches above these lipsticks are incredibly pigmented, each of the swatches above was 1 swipe of the lipstick. Also when they say Megalast they mean it. The first night I wore one of these lipsticks I wore ‘Mochalicious’ out to dinner, and I had drinks, dinner and dessert and they stayed on the whole night!
The brighter shades also leave a very even, pretty stain on the lips when they do eventually wear off or you remove them.
The best way I have found for removing these lipsticks is to use an oil-based makeup remover.
The final product I picked up was a basic lipstick in the shade Blind Date.
These lipsticks have a glossy finish and aren’t quite as pigmented, but there is still a lot of colour payoff. The shade range isn’t quite as extensive, but there is definitely still a colour for everyone.
Blind Date is a beautiful plummy wine shade that would look absolutely stunning with a bronze smokey eye in the autumn.
Overall I am hugely impressed by wet ‘n’ wild, and will definitely be looking on amazon for more of their lipsticks, and if you live in the States, you should definitely count yourself lucky and go and pick up some wet ‘n’ wild makeup. I was expecting the products to be sort of average for the price, but the quality is amazing and the prices couldn’t get much lower I don’t think!
Let me know your favourites from Wet ‘n’ Wild!

Today was a very rare day in England, the sun was shining and it was actually warm, so me and Henry decided to take a little walk and enjoy the weather a little. The walk was absolutely lovely, we walked along a little path that lead to Horsted Valley and had a wander around and took a few photos.
After a little while we got a little bit peckish and decided to pop to Asda and grab some bits to have a little garden picnic when we got back home, which turned out to be pretty yummy! We got back and laid out a fluffy blanket in the garden and ate our little picnic.
It was really nice to spend a little sunny afternoon with Henry before he goes off to Poland for the summer to do a physics research project. Hopefully we’ll be able to go on a few more little adventures before he goes.

It’s Wishlist time again!! This time it’s Drugstore Blushes. These are the blushes that I have been wanting after for a very long time, but for some reason, have not made it into my collection yet. Let’s get started shall we?
1) Max Factor Creme Puff Blushes – £8.99 – Boots.com
Max Factor is one of those brands that seems to produce a constant stream of good products. I honestly can’t think of one Max Factor product that I have tried that I haven’t liked. So I have always been curious to see whether their Creme Puff Blushes stand up to my expectations. Plus, look at how pretty they are with all the swirly marbling!!
2) Milani Baked Blush – Luminoso – $7.49 – drugstore.com
The Baked Blush in Luminoso by Milani is definitely a cult favourite. Everybody and their mama in the beauty community seems to be madly in love with blush so I’m definitely going to try and pick it up when I’m in America this weekend!
3) Nyx Baked Blush – £6.50 – boots.com
Nyx is a brand that has always massively intrigued me, until recently it has been fairly difficult to get hold of in the UK, but now Nyx is available on the Boots website! Naturally I now have about 1000 Nyx products that I want to add to my collection, and the baked blushes are definitely one of them. There is also the added bonus of the absolutely adorable packaging!
4) Wet n Wild Coloricon Blush – Pearlescent Pink – $2.99 – drugstore.com
Wet n Wild are well known for producing amazing products for a stupidly low price. You get 0.2oz/5.85g of product in one of these blushes and they are only $2.99! Thats more product than the Milani blush for less than half the price! Definitely going to be picking one of these up in New York!
5) Sleek Blush By 3 – Pink Lemonade – £9.99 – boots.com
It’s crazy to think that you can get 3 pretty much full size Sleek blushes in one palette for £9.99. That only £3.33 each! Such a bargain! Plus, Sleek blushes have such incredible pigmentation and leave your cheeks looking so effortlessly pretty. The shade range in the Pink Lemonade palette is very rosy toned, with a coral on the end, I think there is a blush in this palette for almost every makeup look and the coral tone would look stunning in the summer with a tan!
Let me know if you have tried any of these blushes and if you have any other recommendations for me!

The Maybelline Colour Tattoos have been all over the internet for years now, you can’t step foot on YouTube without hearing the words ‘On and On Bronze’. So naturally I felt like I had to see if these products lived up to their hype, and I’m still on the fence.
The shades I picked up were:
On and On Bronze – A lovely shimmery golden bronze shade
Permanent Taupe – A cross between a grey and a purple, very cool toned, semi-matte
Vintage Plum – A matte deep plum shade with a touch of grey
After playing around with these shades for a while I have some very fixed opinions about each one.
My favourite is On and On Bronze, it is very creamy and pigmented. I normally apply this all over the lid and then blend it out slightly into the crease and it gives me a nice eyeshadow look in about a minute.
Permanent Taupe is second best, because of its slightly matte finish you have to work a little bit harder to get an even colour, in the swatches I applied 2 coats of each and you can see that it is still a little patchy. However, once you have built up an even layer, it blends very evenly and easily, and gives a good colour to the crease. I have even applied this all over the lid and blended it out to achieve a pretty cool-toned smokey eye.
Now for the colour that has not held up to the hype for me. Vintage Plum was a little disappointing. It is a Leather Effect colour tattoo so is incredibly matte, and I don’t know whether it is that, or maybe it has dried out (although it has only been open a month), but Vintage Plum is so stiff. The other shades are incredibly creamy, whereas I really have to work to get a decent amount of this product onto my brush or my finger. Because of this, it means that it always applies kind of smeary, and patchy. The only way I have found to use this shade really has been to blend it into my crease and then set it with a powder shadow to create a more even look.
Overall, I would recommend the Colour Tattoos, they are £4.99 each, and can be bought from Boots, or Superdrug if you are in the UK, and anywhere else that sells Maybelline products. As a precaution at first I would say to stick with the regular Colour Tattoos, and I will pick up another one or two of the leather shades and update you in a little while!

Halsey has teamed up with MAC for their Future Forward series. This collaboration is happening in 4 stages with 4 different music artists, Tinashe, Halsey, Dej Loaf and Lion Babe.
Tinashe’s collaboration featured an Eyeshadow x 9 and was available from the 17th of March and unfortunately isn’t available anymore.
Halsey’s lipstick has been available since March 21st and is the feature of this blog post.
Dej Loaf will be releasing a lipglass on April 14th that is a soft mid-tone nude shade.
Finally, Lion Babe will be releasing a Liquidlast Liner in a shimmering gold shade on the 28th of April.
The Halsey Lipstick is what I have been most excited for from this series of collaborations, not only is the colour amazingly unique, but I have recently fallen in love with Halsey’s music as well, which makes it even better.
The shade is simply described as a ‘grey’ on the MAC website, but it is a very cool toned grey, that is quite dark. The finish of the lipstick isn’t mentioned on the MAC site, but MAC are well known for producing amazing lip products so I’m sure this will be just the same.
Unfortunately, it is sold out on the UK MAC website at the moment so I can’t get my hands on it, but hopefully it comes back in stock soon!! I would love to have this stunning lipstick in my collection, I definitely don’t think this is a shade for the light hearted though, seeing as it is a grey colour, I’m sure it will be extremely creamy and pigmented, as it would probably look a little strange sheer.
Also, can we talk about the packaging?! Now if you know anything about Halsey, or have listening to her song ‘Colours’ (which I strongly recommend, it is amazing) then you will know that she sort of maybe loves the colour blue a little, so it makes sense for the packaging to be a swirly mix of different blues. I think it looks so beautiful, and I would definitely have it on display somewhere!
The lipstick retails for £15.50, the price of a regular MAC lipstick, over on maccosmetics.co.uk
Would you be brave enough to wear a slate-grey lipstick out of the house? What makeup look would you pair it with?
