Sleek is well known for their beautiful eyeshadow palettes and blushes. I recently received the I-Divine Palette in Au Naturel as a gift and I love it.
The palette retails for £7.99 on the Sleek Website which is amazing value for 12 eyeshadows. Each eyeshadow in the palette is 1.1g or 0.03oz which is a pretty good amount of product.
A couple of the colours are a little poor on the pigmentation side of things, but work as a gentle wash of colour on the lid. However, the rest of the colours are simply stunning.
Nougat is a lovely white shade with a satin finish, it’s great on the browbone. Nubuck is a fantastic brow colour for me, and that is what I use it most for, it isn’t too ashy in my brows and it fills them in nicely. Cappuccino is a matte taupe shade, amazing as a transition shade, or as a base shade all over the lid.
Honeycomb in the palette looks to be a pale yellow colour, however when swatched it really lacks pigmentation, the same goes for Toast, a lovely orange in the pan, but kind of disappears on the skin. Taupe however is a different story, it is a beautiful shimmery champagne taupe colour. The shimmer that you see in the pan definitely transfers onto the eye.
Conker is a brown shadow with a purple/red shimmer running through it, the shimmer gives the shadow a duochrome effect when on the eyelid. Moss is a khaki shimmer shade, it is amazing on the lid for a grungey eye look, and blends beautifully. Bark is a matte cool toned brown that doesn’t swatch very well, but when you use a blending brush (such as the Mac 217) and place it into the crease it is beautiful.
The swatches for these colours really do not do them justice, the last 3 colours in this palette, in my opinion are the best. Mineral Earth is a stunning shimmery warm brown that looks amazing on the outer 3rd of the eye for a slightly smokey look. Regal is a very warm brown with almost a brick undertone, again a beautiful crease colour. Noir is easily the best black I’ve ever tried, it is so pigmented and blends amazingly. The only slight issue with Noir is it is slightly chalky and powdery.
Overall I love this palette. Sleek shadows are some of my favourites anyway, especially for the price. It works out that each shadow is roughly £0.66 which is ridiculous for the quality. All of the shades work well, they blend beautifully. The palette is an extremely diverse neutral palette that has a wide range of shades and finishes.
I urge you go out and try this palette if you can, it is beautiful.
