Future MAC Collection ♡ New MAC Releases 2/5

Next up in my series of new MAC releases is the Future collection. This collection focuses on luminous, Mineralize products. This is big collection featuring 21 products. Some are new products and shades, and some are re-featured products.

So! Let’s get started, there’s a lot to talk about!

First up are 5 new shades of the Mineralize Rich Lipstick, which is an extremely moisturizing lipstick. The lipsticks retail for £21.00.

mac future lipsticks

Supernova is a cool, off-white

Metafabulous is a soft peach

Cybernaut is a neutral pink

Ionized is a metallic silver, and is easily the most unique shade in this collection

Touch the Earth is a midtone taupe

To pair with the lipsticks are 4 shades of Mineralize Glasses, in complimenting colours. As far as I’m aware, these are all new shades to the MAC range. All of the shades are pearlescent and will give a high shine to the lips. The Lip Glasses retail for £20.00.MAC future collection lipglasses

Antireality is a soft white with pearl

Telegenius is a soft peachy pink with pearl

Interspatial is a silver with multi-colour pearl

The Zone is a dirty mauve with pearl

There are also 3 Mineralize Eyeshadow Quads, the shadows in these quads are mineral-based baked eyeshadows, meaning they are extremely shiny. They also provide an ultra-lightweight coverage. The Quads retail for £34.00.

Future Collection Eyeshadows

Nanonude contains a warm beige, a neutral beige, a soft caramel and a gold with pearl. The shades will create a very soft, warm look if used all together.

Dark Energy contains a metallic silver, an iridescent teal, a metallic blue a black with pearl. This quad will give a more dramatic look, and will look pretty on blue eyes.

Full Orbit contains a creamy white, a dirty olive, a deep grey and a soft brown with pearl. I think this palette is the most diverse, because you could make a very natural eye look out of these shades or you could use the darker shade, and add a bit of drama.

MAc Future Eye Glosses

An item that has been featured a few times in MAC collection now are the eye glosses, these are a product that I think looks cool on other people but I don’t think I could wear for more than about 5 minutes before I got annoyed with the sticky feeling on my eyelids. The Eye Glosses retail for £16.00.

Pearl Varnish is a white gloss with pearl

Lightly Taupe is a light beige gloss with pearl

The idea with eye glosses is that  you do your eyeshadow look and then you put the gloss over the top, this gives a very shiny look to the eyelids and gives a lot of dramatic effect.

Future Collection mascara and liners.jpg

Also featured as items in this collection are a few standard line items from MAC. The Mineralise Multi-Effect Lash Mascara in Charged Black contains yeast extract and is a very volumising formula. The Mascara retails for £21.00.

There are also 2 of the Technakohl Liners in Sterling Silver and Graphblack, these are extremely pigmented, and are twist up so you don’t waste any product when sharpening. The Liners retail for £14.00.

There are also a set of lashes featured, the Number 4 lashes from the permanent line, these lashes aren’t super intense and are more of a wispy lash, similar to the Ardell Wispies. The lashes retail for £10.50.

There are 2 MAC Studio Nail Lacquers for this collections also, I have never tried one of these polishes  however the website boasts ‘A long lasting, high-impact colour that won’t fade, dull or streak. The Nail lacquers retail for £10.00.

Moonday is a clear with silver pearl.

Sweet Potion is a soft beige nude shade.

All of the items can be picked up from maccosmetics.co.uk or I believe this collection is available in MAC Stores.

Let me know if you are thinking of picking anything up from the new collection!

MAC x Caitlyn Jenner – Finally Free♡ New Mac Releases 1/5

Recently MAC have released a whole bunch of new collections that are officially available in stores today! (but some stores may have released them early, and some might release a little later) Although, they have been available online for about a week now!

I have decided to do a small series of blog posts, that are all going to be posted at around the same time, but it means that you can pick and choose what to read rather than reading through a massive blog post with 5 different collections.

This post is going to be about the Mac x Caitlyn Jenner collaboration, a lipstick called Finally FrMAC Caitlyn Jenneree. I think the name of this lipstick is one of the best I have seen, it represents how Caitlyn finally feels free after sharing her transition with the world.

Finally Free is a Cremesheen lipstick, in a midtone rosey nude shade. I think it is a beautiful and classy colour that would suit pretty much every skin tone. In fact, the Mac website says that this lipstick was made to suit All Ages, All Races and All Races.

The best part about this lipstick is that, not only is it an absolutely stunning shade, but 100% of the selling price goes to the MAC AIDS Fund Transgender Initiative to help further its work in support of Transgender Communities. It is amazing that the entire selling price goes to such a great cause, plus, it means you have a really good reason to buy lipstick. Buying lipstick to help support transgender communities, it’s a win win situation really!

The lipstick retails for $17 from maccosmetics.com

If ever you needed a time to buy a MAC lipstick, now is definitely the time, if you are worried about buying a slightly more expensive lipstick, then you can be at peace knowing that the money is going to such an amazing cause!

Colourpop Spring Summer 2016 ♡ Eyes and Lips!

Colourpop has dropped their Spring Summer collection today and it is stunning! It is a 15 piece collection full of bright colours and glitter and everything you could possibly want!

Colourpop SS16 Lippie Stix

The first 3 items are 3 Lippie Stix. The Lippie Stix retail for $5.00 each and come in a huge variety of finishes. Each of the Lippie Stix for this collection has a different finish and there is a range of colour.

Hype Girl is a soft coral nude, in a matte finish

Croquet is a cool toned pink, in a sheer finish

Crumpet is a bright yellow-pink, in a créme finish

Colourpop SS16 Ultra Satin Lips

Next up are 3 new shades added to the recent launch of the Ultra Satin Lip. The Ultra Satin Lips retail for $6.00. These are a liquid lipstick, but they are moisturizing and leave a more velvet-y feel to the lips. They do transfer but also have extremely long wear! All of the new shades are super bright and summery.

Spritz is a mid-tone true bubble gum pink.

Botanical is a neon peachy coral.

Naked Ladies is a bright coral red.

Colourpop SS16 Creme Gel Liners

There are 2 new shades added to the Créme Gel Pencil Liners, and 2 new shades to the Créme Gel Pot Liners. The pencil liners glide on really smoothly and last an incredibly long time in the waterline. The pot liners are amazing for a bold winged liner, however you have to make sure you keep the lid on nice and tight otherwise they will dry out before you have had a lot of use out of them! The pencil liners retail for $5.00, and the gel pot liners sell for $6.00.

HoneyDude is a creamy warm nude.

Teaspoon is an intense emerald green

Descanso is a bright purple, with turquoise multi-dimensional glitters.

Colourpop SS16 Eyeshadow.jpg

There are also 5 brand new eyeshadows in this collection, in a 3 different finishes; satin, matte and pearlised. I think that you could use all 5 of these shadows and make a really pretty blue eye look. The eyeshadows retail for $5.00.

Wattles is a dusty beige pink, in a satin finish.

Belladonna Lily is a soft patel aqua, in a matte finish.

Flowershop is a vibrant blue green with soft gold pearl on top, in a pearlised finish.

Luckfully is a bright cobalt blue, in a pearlised finish.

Flutes is a mid-tone yellow brown, in a matte finish.

The whole collection is available on the colourpop website (link). However, the Colourpop website only ship to the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands and APO’s. So if you live in any other country, you will have to use a shipping service to get these products to you. But in my opinion it is worth it, because Colourpop products are amazing!

Have you tried any Colourpop?

New In Beauty ♡ SLEEK Makeup

Sleek has had a few new launches recently, including a whole new range of VIP Lipsticks, and a new addition to the i-Divine Eyeshadow palette range!

Let’s look at the new lipstick range first! The Lip VIP line has 6 lipsticks and sell for £5.50. The Sleek website states that these are an intensely pigmented, semi-matte formula. They include Vitamin E, Shea Butter and Coconut Oil so they will be very moisturising on the lips.

There is a wide range of colours, considering the range is only 6 lipsticks, there is something for everyone. Personally I’m drawn to Night Spot but I have always had a thing for red lipstick.

Lip Vips and names

Next up is a new i-Divine palette, full of neutral shades. Sleek describe this palette as a palette for ‘laidback weekends and everyday office chic’. There is a range of shades from light to dark/medium. There aren’t any super dark shades so I think this would be perfect for when you are going for a more natural look.

Screen Shot 2016-03-28 at 21.39.46.png

There seems to be a range of matte shades and shimmery shades, and the palette is full of mostly warm shades.

Personally, I am really drawn to this palette and will probably be picking it up within the next few weeks, so expect a review soon!

The i-Divine palette range has 17 different palettes with a huge colour range, from warms to cools, neutrals, brights, anything you could think of. Each palette retails for £7.99. I have already posted a review of the i-Divine palette in Au Naturel which you can read here. Unfortunately a lot of my images have disappeared and are unretrievable but you can still read my thoughts!

I definitely recommend checking out the new launches from Sleek as they always have high quality products for an incredible price!

Impassioned ♡ New Nars Blush

There has been a new addition to the blush range that Nars has to offer, a new pink shade called Impassioned. Impassioned is described as being a ‘Pink Orchid’ shade and I would say that is pretty accurate.

Screen Shot 2016-03-28 at 20.54.14

It looks like it would be a lovely subtle shade for spring and summer, for days when you want a more subtle look. It also looks to be pretty matte, for those of you that aren’t a fan of shimmery blushes!

I discovered Impassioned when I was writing my High-End Blush Wishlist post (link) and it has quickly become the blush from Nars that I most desire to own, it is a stunning shade!

Impassioned retails for £23, the same as the other blushes from Nars and is available to purchase now from the Nars Website (link).

I might have to get my hands on it soon!

p.s. I apologise for the name of the blush being spelt wrong in the title image for this post…it is definitely Impassioned and not Empassioned..

New In Beauty ♡ Bourjois Souffle de Velvet

There’s a pretty exciting release from Bourjois hitting the shelves, the Souffle de Velvet. Another addition to the Velvet range, joining the Rouge Edition Velvet, a matte finish lip cream, and the Rouge Edition Aqua Lacque, a glossy liquid lipstick.

The Souffle Velvet are described as a sheer, matte liquid lipstick which I personally find very interesting. I think these lipsticks would be amazing for in the spring and summer when you don’t necessarily want a fully opaque lipstick. The sheer formula will give a much more subtle look on the lips. While, I am hoping that the matte formula will reduce transfer.

new in beauty bourjois

The Souffle de Velvet comes in 8 shades, ranging from a light peachy colour, to a darker fuchsia and a deep Kylie Jenner brown shade. I like the shade range as there are no super dark colours, which means that they will all give you a very fresh, bright look.

The Souffle de Velvet retail for £6.99 and are available to purchase now!

I can’t wait to get my hands on a few of these shades, VIPeach and Carameli Melo are calling my name!
