Drugstore Blush Wishlist ♡ Wet ‘n’ Wild, Sleek and More…

It’s Wishlist time again!! This time it’s Drugstore Blushes. These are the blushes that I have been wanting after for a very long time, but for some reason, have not made it into my collection yet. Let’s get started shall we?

Drugstore Blush Wishlist1) Max Factor  Creme Puff Blushes – £8.99 – Boots.com

Max Factor is one of those brands that seems to produce a constant stream of good products. I honestly can’t think of one Max Factor product that I have tried that I haven’t liked. So I have always been curious to see whether their Creme Puff Blushes stand up to my expectations. Plus, look at how pretty they are with all the swirly marbling!!

2) Milani Baked Blush – Luminoso – $7.49 – drugstore.com

The Baked Blush in Luminoso by Milani is definitely a cult favourite. Everybody and their mama in the beauty community seems to be madly in love with blush so I’m definitely going to try and pick it up when I’m in America this weekend!

3) Nyx Baked Blush – £6.50 – boots.com

Nyx is a brand that has always massively intrigued me, until recently it has been fairly difficult to get hold of in the UK, but now Nyx is available on the Boots website! Naturally I now have about 1000 Nyx products that I want to add to my collection, and the baked blushes are definitely one of them. There is also the added bonus of the absolutely adorable packaging!

4) Wet n Wild Coloricon Blush – Pearlescent Pink – $2.99 – drugstore.com

Wet n Wild are well known for producing amazing products for a stupidly low price. You get 0.2oz/5.85g of product in one of these blushes and they are only $2.99! Thats more product than the Milani blush for less than half the price! Definitely going to be picking one of these up in New York!

5) Sleek Blush By 3 – Pink Lemonade – £9.99 – boots.com

It’s crazy to think that you can get 3 pretty much full size Sleek blushes in one palette for £9.99. That only £3.33 each! Such a bargain! Plus, Sleek blushes have such incredible pigmentation and leave your cheeks looking so effortlessly pretty. The shade range in the Pink Lemonade palette is very rosy toned, with a coral on the end, I think there is a blush in this palette for almost every makeup look and the coral tone would look stunning in the summer with a tan!

Let me know if you have tried any of these blushes and if you have any other recommendations for me!

MAC Future Forward: Halsey! ♡ New MAC Releases 3/5

Halsey has teamed up with MAC for their Future Forward series. This collaboration is happening in 4 stages with 4 different music artists, Tinashe, Halsey, Dej Loaf and Lion Babe.

Tinashe’s collaboration featured an Eyeshadow x 9 and was available from the 17th of March and unfortunately isn’t available anymore.

Halsey’s lipstick has been available since March 21st and is the feature of this blog post.

Dej Loaf will be releasing a lipglass on April 14th that is a soft mid-tone nude shade.

Finally, Lion Babe will be releasing a Liquidlast Liner in a shimmering gold shade on the 28th of April. MAC future forward lipstick

The Halsey Lipstick is what I have been most excited for from this series of collaborations, not only is the colour amazingly unique, but I have recently fallen in love with Halsey’s music as well, which makes it even better.

The shade is simply described as a ‘grey’ on the MAC website, but it is a very cool toned grey, that is quite dark. The finish of the lipstick isn’t mentioned on the MAC site, but MAC are well known for producing amazing lip products so I’m sure this will be just the same.

Unfortunately, it is sold out on the UK MAC website at the moment so I can’t get my hands on it, but hopefully it comes back in stock soon!! I would love to have this stunning lipstick in my collection, I definitely don’t think this is a shade for the light hearted though, seeing as it is a grey colour, I’m sure it will be extremely creamy and pigmented, as it would probably look a little strange sheer.

Also, can we talk about the packaging?! Now if you know anything about Halsey, or have listening to her song ‘Colours’ (which I strongly recommend, it is amazing) then you will know that she sort of maybe loves the colour blue a little, so it makes sense for the packaging to be a swirly mix of different blues. I think it looks so beautiful, and I would definitely have it on display somewhere!

The lipstick retails for £15.50, the price of a regular MAC lipstick, over on maccosmetics.co.uk

Would you be brave enough to wear a slate-grey lipstick out of the house? What makeup look would you pair it with?

High End Foundation Wishlist ♡ Nars, YSL, Koh Gen Do and more…

This is a big one..my High End Foundation Wishlist. There are so many high-end foundations that everyone is talking about at the moment and I would love to add them to my collection!

high end foundation wishlist

1) Nars All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation – £32.00 – Feel Unique

This is a foundation that is really intriguing to me, I have always wanted to test out some of the more ‘weightless’ foundations that the high-end market has to offer, and I think that Nars would be a good place to start. I’m also drawn in by the ‘luminous’ claim, as you will probably know if you have read my last few posts, I am a huge fan of glowy skin.

2) YSL Touche Éclat Le Teint Foundation – £31.50 – Feel Unique

I have been testing out this foundation recently after I received a sample in the mail, and I love it. I will be posting a review soon so keep your eyes out for that! It leaves such a beautiful finish to the skin and I definitely think it is worth investing in!

3) Kat Von D Lock-It Foundation – $35.00 – Sephora.com

Now this foundation is known for being super mega full coverage, so I wouldn’t wear it on an everyday basis, but I think this would be a great addition to my collection for when I have events to go to, or my skin is having an off day!

4) Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Foundation – $43.00 – Sephora.com

Ever since I joined the beauty community I have heard endless people raving about how amazing the HD Foundation from MUFE is, and unfortunately I never got the chance to test out the original formula, but luckily, the reformulated shiny new version is just as good according to the reviews, so I am dying to give it a go!

5) Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation – $62.00 – Sephora.com

Now this one is down to Shaaanxo on YouTube. She is always talking about how amazing this foundation is and how lovely it makes her skin look, and if Shannon recommends it, it’s a must have. I trust her opinions on things 110%. This one is fairly pricey though so will have to wait until I have saved a little before it makes its way into my collection.

6) Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation – £37.00 – Feel Unique

Again I have been grabbed by the Luminous claims. I am a sucker for dewy, radiant skin and will try out any product that claims it can give me just that. So it’s no surprise that I would love to grab a bottle of Luminous Silk to add to my collection!

7) Cover FX Custom Cover Drops – $44.00 – Sephora.com

This is a product that is very very interesting to me. I love how pigmented the drops are and the possibilities to just wear a moisturiser but still have a decent amount  of coverage. I think the concept behind this product is amazing, and I will be testing them out when I get to America in May.

8) Nars Sheer Glow Foundation – £31.00 – Feel Unique

This one is definitely a cult classic, I think everybody and their mama knows about this foundation! It seems to be such a staple in every makeup collection that I have seen, so it will 100% be making its way into my collection in the next couple of months! I’m thinking of picking it up when I go to New York!

9) Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation – £30.00 – Feel Unique

Another foundation that I dont think I would wear every day because it is incredibly full coverage, but it photographs well and leaves skin looking absolutely flawless so would be perfect for events!

10) Too Faced Born This Way Foundation – $39.00 – Sephora.com

A new-ish foundation launch from Too Faced that has had the beauty community going crazy! Everybody is talking about how amazing it leaves your skin looking and how it doesnt budge all day, and who doesnt want a foundation that doesnt need touch-ups throughout the day! Effortless? Yes please!

11) Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation – £27.00 – Feel Unique

A nice lightweight foundation with a dewy finish, I’m pretty sure from reading the rest of this post that you’ve gathered that means I need  to get my hands on this one. That and the fact that Urban Decay always produce amazing products.

Ah! So many foundations, I dont know which ones to add to my collection first! What are your recommendations?!

High End Blush Wishlist ♡ Nars, tarte., Hourglass and More…

Now I’m not a huge fan of blush, I’m always terrified of applying too much and looking a bit like a clown…But that doesn’t mean I don’t have a hefty amount on my wishlist. You know, the huge ever-growing list of products that you have to get your hands on or you might explode? Well here are a few of my most lusted after:

Blush Wishlist image1) Nars Blush – £23.00 – narscosmetics.co.uk

Nars blushes have been a cult classic since the dawn of time it feels like. Ever since I fell in love with makeup I’ve heard people raving about Nars Orgasm blush and speaking of it’s magical powers in the makeup world. Although, my biggest want is Impassioned, the latest addition to the Nars Blush family (blog post here). I have yet to add one to my collection, although hopefully it won’t be too long, I have to know if it can live up to my expectations.

2) tarte Amazonian Clay Blush – $28.00 – sephora.com

Another product that the beauty world seems to go mental over, and I must admit…the packaging is most of the reason I would love to own all of these. I just imagine having a little blush coloured rainbow inside my blush drawer and it makes me all happy inside. I also love the variety of colours that the Amazonian Clay blushes offer.

3) Urban Decay 8Hour Afterglow Blush – £19.00 – urbandecay.co.uk

Urban Decay are always reliable for making amazing products, and I’m sure that their blushes are no exception. I have seen a few different blog posts and videos swatching all of these colours, and I would love to see if I could find a way to wear Bang, the bright orange-red shade.

4) Clinique Cheek Pop – £17.00 – clinique.co.uk

Everybody seems to be going crazy for the packaging of these blushes, and how cute it is, but I have to say I’m not a fan. I think it looks slightly cheap with the clear plastic… However, after looking at loads of swatches and tutorials that have used these blushes, they leave a beautiful finish on the cheeks.

5) Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush – $38.00 – hourglasscosmetics.co.uk

I am a huge fan of radiant skin and love that ‘glowing from within’ look that Hourglass products give. I also love a subtle look with my blush, clown cheeks are a huge threat for me and my pale skin. From what I’ve heard about these blushes, they will be perfect for both of those things so I am dying to get my hands on them.

6) Too Faced Love Flush Blush – £20.00 – toofaced.co.uk

If I’m not a fan of the Clinique blushes, the opposite is true for these. I absolutely adore this packaging, I think it is adorable. Who doesn’t want to collect a load of blush coloured hearts?! I also think that the co-ordinating the packaging to the blush inside is a super convenient way of packaging them, and I just overall am a huge fan of how these blushes are packaged. The swatches I have seen look amazing as well, so they will definitely be finding their way in to my makeup collection very soon.

What blushes have been on your wishlist for a while now?

Drugstore Foundation Wishlist!♡

There are a lot of new foundations appearing at the drugstore recently so I decided to compile a list of the ones that have caught my eye and also some slightly less new ones that I’ve wanted to get my hands on for a while!

Drugstore Foundation Wishlist image

1) Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation – £7.99 – boots.com

This is a new release from Rimmel that claims to be ‘mistake proof’ and give healthier looking skin, who doesn’t want that?! The soft-focus technology is supposed to mask pores (pretty standard) but also dark circles! Sounds pretty great to me.

2) Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin Foundation – £8.99 – boots.com

The Better Skin foundation from Maybelline has an element of skincare in it, it claims to be able to give you better looking skin in 3 weeks, claims that I would love to test out, could save me 5 minutes in the morning!

3) Maybelline Fit Me Dewy + Smooth Foundation – £7.99 – boots.com

Everybody and their mama has been talking about this foundation recently, I’ve been reading blog reviews, its been popping up in people’s favourites on YouTube and I must say, I’ve been drawn in, I’m intrigued and I want to give it a shot.

4) Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation – £8.99 – boots.com

After testing out the Wake Me Up Concealer (review here) and absolutely loving it, I’ve been wanting to test out the Foundation from the same line. I’ve heard some good reviews floating around on the internet. The dewy formula and the lasting power are both things that have intrigued me. The only possible drawback is the shade range, I’m not sure if there is a neutral shade light enough for my skin tone.

5) L’Oréal Lumi Magique Foundation – £10.99 – boots.com

Recently I’ve been testing out the Lumi Magique base from L’Oréal and it gives the most beautiful dewy finish, so if the foundation is similar by even the smallest amount I can tell that I will love it. Lumi Magique is possibly going to be the next foundation making its way into my collection.

What foundations would you recommend for me to try? I have dry, dehydrated skin and I love a dewy finish.

High End Lipstick Wishlist ❣ Tom Ford, Kat Von D and More!

High End Lipstick Wishlist

Back again with another wishlist! This time it’s the high end lipsticks that I dream of owning but for now, I just look at longingly! So here goes…

1. Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick – Lolita – $21.00 – katvondbeauty.com (also available on sephora.com)

Now I’m pretty sure 2015 was the year of Kat Von D cosmetics, everyone just went mad for the contour kits, the eyeshadows, but the stand out for me are the lipsticks. I just think the packaging and the shade range is to die for! One day I will have a line of fierce studded lipsticks on my dresser, one day!

2. Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick – Glastonberry – £23.00 – charlottetilbury.com

There are a few selling points for me on the Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks. The biggest being the packaging, the beautiful, elegant and classic packaging that has me swooning every time I see one. Then there is this beautiful colour, a stunning, dark berry colour that makes me want autumn to come back around just so I can wear this everyday!

3. YSL Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick – 67 – £25 – selfridges.com

These lipsticks to me are the epitomy of fancy. Something about the gold, the logo and the weight of these lipsticks just makes me fall in love. The shade mentioned above is just one of many that I dream to own. Imaging having them lined up and staring at you every time you did your makeup! *swoon*

4. Tom Ford Lip Color – Forbidden Pink – $52 – tomford.com

$52 sure is high end huh? Tom Ford lipsticks to me are like the Lamborghini’s of the car world to many. So unattainable, but so SO desirable. Oh how I would love to own such a stunning lipstick. I think I might end up treating it better than my future children though…

5. Mac Lipstick – £15.50 – maccosmetics.co.uk

I’m pretty sure anyone with a slight interest in makeup has a whole list of Mac lipsticks that they want to own one day right? As of right now I don’t any, but I plan on picking up a few on my trip to New York in May!! Velvet Teddy and Rebel are the top 2 on my list at the moment, such pretty shades!

Let me know which lipsticks have been on your wishlist for a while now!

High End Highlighter Wishlist

High End HighlighterLuminizer Wishlist

So I’m finally back from my little break…which was a lot longer than I was expecting, oops, won’t happen again!! I decided that a wishlist would be a good post to make up for my not-so-little absence!

Recently I have been longing after a lot of highlighters from more High-End brands and I thought I would compile the most loved (from a distance) highlights into this post.  So here goes…

  1. Guerlain Météorites Compact – $62.00

Thought I’d start with a bang…that’s a big price tag. Normally I would look at a $62.00 price and run for the hills…but there is something about this highlighter that makes me want it so badly. It’s so preetttyyyy.

2. Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick – Pink Quartz – $46.00

The Shimmer Bricks by Bobbi Brown have been a cult favourite for a while now, and the bug has finally made its way to me. The main attraction for me is the layout, the strips mean that you can customise the highlight to what you are feeling like that day. You can focus your brush on one particular strip or swirl to get a pinky glow. Sounds amazing to me!!

3. Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat – Radiant Touch – $42.00

This product is one that I’ve wanted to test out for under my eyes. I feel like if I mixed it in with my concealer it would bring a lot more lightness to my undereye area, which is going to be needed as I go into my second year of college!!

4. BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed – Opal – $38.00

It seems as though recently nobody can get enough of this shimmery goodness. What with Jaclyn Hill creating a highlight in collaboration with BECCA, combined with the fact that these Shimmering Skin Perfectors give such an amazing shine to the face, everyone seems to be madly in love, and I am too.

5. The BALM Mary Lou-Manizer – $24.00

I have to blame NikkieTutorials for this one, ever since I first saw her pop this on the top of her cheekbones, I knew that I had to have it in my life. It gave the most beautiful shine to the cheeks, that made Nikkie look like some kind of goddess, and I’m hoping it can do the same to me!

Hopefully it won’t be too long before I can spread the sparkle and shine from these highlighters all over my face and look like a lightbulb! *fingers crossed*
